A day in Brighton.

Hannah here!
This weekend me and my step-sister embraced the warm weather and visited Brighton for the day, here is how we spent it:

Me and my sister visited her new college

We went to a really quirky second-hand clothes shop!

Then we stopped at a cute cafe for some yummy cupcakes:

My sister and I also enjoyed some lovely bubble tea.

We had a lovely day together in Brighton and look forward to going back soon!

Sunday Funday.

Jess here,
On Sunday 1st June, I had a family day and I wanted to be able to share the pictures that I took while we were out. My mum, dad, sister, two nephews, niece and I all ventured to a little country park near us, it was a lovely day and we had a great lunch out. The sun was even out, which is a massive shock for English weather this time of year!

They found an amazing climbing tree and it was a perfect picture opportunity...

After the country park the boys came back to their grandma and granddad's house and my niece went home for a sleep, then we all went round to my sister's house for a Sunday roast.

One of the boys drawing that i may have helped with..... a lot!

My top 3 Barry M nail polishes.

Jess here,

I LOVE painting my nails, and I especially love the Barry M nail polishes, they are affordable, come in some beautiful colours and are surprisingly quick drying, which is a big bonus for me because I am so impatient. So I thought I would tell you my top three Barry M nail polish colours for all year round.

3. Matte black nail paint in the colour espresso 339

2. Aquarium collection nail paint in the colour pacific 404

1. Gelly Hi-Shine in the colour blueberry 317

Thanks for reading, I would love to know your favorite Barry M nail polish, so comment on this post or tweet us on our twitter @livesofhandj

Our Isle of Wight Adventure.

Last week, we both visited the Isle of Wight for an extended weekend with Jess’ family; this is a common occurrence for us as it is a holiday destination Jess’ family LOVE! We always visit a certain place that is special as it is a place Jess’ dad used to visit as a child. It is called ‘Smugglers Haven’ and it is an amazing cafĂ© with the best ploughmans lunch around, it also has stunning views and some adventurous (and slightly dangerous) walking routes which we would recommend greatly.
Sorry this picture is not amazing but the walkway is called Devils Chimney. This is a place with strong memories for Jess, as her dad used to tell her the name of it as a kid and she was so scared she refused to walk down it. Little did she know it is just stairs inside a large rock!

It was at this point that we reached a road and realised we may be a bit lost, but luckily Jess’ dad is brilliant with directions and managed to get us back to the cafe where Jess’ mum was waiting for us.
We then sat in a patch of grass that was covered in daisy's and Hannah made herself a flower crown.
